  2016 Summer Camp Day
Family And Children's Services Of Renfrew County is excited to declare Thursday July 28th "2016 Renfrew County Summer Camp Day." So far 205 children in need from all over Renfrew County have gone to summer camp thanks to donations to our Summer Smiles campaign, in support of the Darlene Aikens Memorial Camp Fund. We have started a crowd funding page where people can donate. It's at the gofundme.com website at Renfrew County Summer Camp Fund Or,they can contact us to make donations offline. Our goal is to fund 250 campers. To help do this, we are asking businesses, individuals and groups across Renfrew County to take part in a summer camp day activity where they are, and raise some much needed funds to help kids right here in Renfrew County. Groups could, Hold a special summer camp dress down day, Have a barbeque, Or do a cool event of their choosing, with any revenue going to our summer camp fund.   Big event at Eganville Farmers' Market
The Eganville Farmers' Market is happy to announce Toronto folksinger/songwriter/guitarist Nicole Coward will be performing at the market on July 29, Eganville's Legion Field, 2 pm. You can also enjoy the "junior vendors", aged 18 & under, who will present their homegrown/homemade items for sale that day. Regular vendors are also present. The market runs from 2-6 pm every Friday.

  Giant Book Sale in Eganville
Giant Book Sale August Long Weekend The Friends of the Bonnechere Union Public Library (Eganville) will hold their 4th Annual Giant Book Sale Friday, July 29 through Monday, August 1 from 10 - 6 at the warehouse at 56 Veteran's Way across from the Eganville Legion (behind the Clothing Bank). Big selection of gently used books, CDs and jigsaw puzzles for the whole family. All proceeds go to the library.

  Sonya Bergin and Quinn Solar's Mini Concert
Two local musicians, Sonya Bergin and Quinn Solar, will be putting on a mini concert in Low Square, downtown Renfrew. This event will be from 2:30pm-4:00pm on Saturday, July 30th, weather permitting. The afternoon will consist of live music from each of the musicians, as well as separate performances.

On Sunday July 31 at 6pm at the Whitewater Wesleyan Commumnity Church a fundraising event to assist Bailey Plunkett on her Missions trip and training in Hawaii will be taking place.
