  Spaghetti Dinner and Chance Auction
Lt Colonel Harry Babcock of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 137 in Napanee is holding a Spaghetti Dinner and Chance Auction as a fundraiser for the Napanee District Secondary School students making a trip to Europe for the 65th Anniversary of VE Day in May of 2010. They hope to raise $3000 dollars to help with the trip. Doors open at 12:30 for auction item viewing , dinner is served buffet style at 1:30 pm. The auction begins at 2:30. Tickets are $15 dollars.   Parenting Your Teen Workshop
The Frontenac Children's Aid Society and K3C are providing this parenting course for families with youth between the ages of 13 to 16. The course is open to all parents/caregivers working with the Fronteac CAS whether the child is at home, in the Society's care or placed with KIN. The course runs for 6 weeks for 2 hours. Session 1: Introductions and Life Style Choices. Session 2: Developmental Stages Understanding where your teen is at. Session 3: Parenting Styles and Discipline. Session 4 : Peer Influence and substance abuse Session 5: Communication and your relationship with your teen. Session 6 Wrap up and Resources.
